Branching out - all done

Hey,

I have finished my mother's scarf just in time. I have gift-wrapped it as well now, so just need to pack my stuff too and I'm all ready to go.
Some pics below, which I won't add to my own site till I've given her the scarf, so not to ruin her surprise.
I'll see you in two/three weeks time. Take care & happy knitting! Anna xx

Erssie ... we are waiting for you

Friday, September 23, 2005

Last Tuesday we had to say a very sad goodbye to Rachel but a happy hello to Nanhee. Rachel is leaving us to go back to NY and is hoping to find an equally good stitch and bitch group there. I'm not sure she'll manage, especially with the high quality pizza we all enjoyed but good luck and best wishes from all of us. Make sure you keep in touch.

Nanhee is our first MACHINE KNITTER (*gasp*) although she admits to prefering hand knitting. Susan, Abi and Sian were all very interested in Nanhee's degree at St Martin's and whether her knitting machine would fit in her backpack for lessons in the pub.

Just to make sure you realise some knitting took place here is Sian with her second skin gloves and Ann with something Noro I think.

New site design is up

Hi All,

I have just finished the new site design. Hope you'll like it. Any comments/feedback greatly appreciated.

I'm off to do some knitting now, must reduce the number of WIPs before I go away in just over one week's time.

Hope you're all having a fantastic weekend.

Cheers, Anna xx

On the left is Anna. She has her own knitting website here: www.annarella.co.uk
She also designed the Angel Knits logos, coming soon ...

This is the group last Tuesday evening, we were about 20 people.

This is where we meet, The New Rose Inn, 84-86 Essex Road. It is spacious, the owners are friendly, and they offer very well priced food and drinks.
